Berkshire Dental Updated Infection Control

At Berkshire Dental, infection control is a priority as it ensures that patient care is safe and comfortable. Our infection control procedures are up to date and in place to keep staff and patients healthy and protected from COVID-19.

Berkshire Dental is actively following and adapting safety procedures regarding infection control. The recommendations we are following are made by the American Dental Association (ADA), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA), and the Iowa Dental Board.

With these suggestions, some of the equipment and changes we have fulfilled include:

Due to these mandates, there has been be a PPE fee added to each visit. Throughout the office we are continuing to use the highest quality products available for procedures, including infection control products. Additionally, we are doing our best to extend procedure times and attend to one patient at a time. We are implementing all of these procedures while continuing to maintain our previous high level of infection control. As always, we strive to see all patients in a timely manner, but if wait times are longer than usual before your appointment, please understand that we are ensuring the space you enter is disinfected and ready for high quality service.

If you have questions regarding our infection control guidelines or financial policies, please reach out by calling our office at 515-200-2531.
